What is USCIEP?

The United States Council for International Engineering Practice (USCIEP) exists to develop and promote procedures to enable U.S.-registered professional engineers to practice internationally. USCIEP identifies constraints to practice, recommends procedures to eliminate artificial constraints, promotes interest in cross-border practice, and negotiates and recommends tentative agreements for cross-border practice, all for the benefit of humanity in safeguarding life, health, and property.

USCIEP participates in international organizations that facilitate international mobility for qualified professional engineers. USCIEP is a nonprofit organization composed of representatives from two member organizations:
National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying
 National Society of Professional Engineers
